Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 April 2026

Important — Please Read Carefully

By accessing, registering for, or using Public Sector Sponsorship (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately. These Terms contain limitations of liability, disclaimers of warranties, an indemnity, and a binding arbitration clause that affect your legal rights.

1. About Us

Public Sector Sponsorship (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at publicsectorsponsorship.co.uk. We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Government, the Home Office, UK Visas & Immigration, the NHS, the Civil Service, any local authority, or any employer listed on the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

The Service aggregates publicly available job listings, sponsor licence data, and related information, and provides AI-assisted tools (CV drafting, cover letters, supporting statements). The Service is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, immigration, financial, career, medical, or professional advice of any kind.

3. No Guarantees — Jobs, Sponsorship & Visas

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • We do not guarantee that any job listed is currently open, accurate, lawful, or that the employer will sponsor a visa.
  • We do not guarantee any interview, job offer, Certificate of Sponsorship, visa grant, relocation, settlement, or any other immigration outcome.
  • Sponsor licence status is taken from publicly published registers and may be outdated, withdrawn, or incorrect at any time. You must verify directly with the employer and the Home Office before relying on it.
  • Salary, role, location, and eligibility data may be incorrect. You are solely responsible for verifying every detail before applying or making any life decision.

4. AI-Generated Content

Documents produced by our AI tools (CVs, cover letters, supporting statements, etc.) are generated by third-party large language models and may contain errors, omissions, fabricated facts, or inappropriate content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and approving any AI-generated output before submitting it to any employer or third party. We accept no liability for the content, accuracy, suitability, or consequences of using AI-generated material.

5. Eligibility & Your Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice or reason, including for suspected breach of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not, and must not permit any third party to:

  • Scrape, copy, harvest, mirror, or republish any content, job data, sponsor data, or AI output from the Service;
  • Use the Service to send spam, harass employers, or submit fraudulent applications;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, probe, or attempt to bypass any security, rate limit, paywall, or access control;
  • Upload malware, false personal data, or any content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or misleading;
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or any generated document without our prior written consent;
  • Use the Service in a way that breaches UK immigration law or misrepresents your identity, qualifications, or right to work.

Breach of this section is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination, forfeiture of any fees paid, and legal action.

7. Subscriptions

7.1 Billing Cadence

  • Paid plans are offered on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) and are billed in advance at the start of each billing period via our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period using your stored payment method, at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you expressly authorise these recurring charges.
  • All prices are stated in GBP (£) unless otherwise indicated and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
  • We may change prices, plans, or included features at any time. Price changes apply at your next renewal after reasonable notice (at least 14 days by email or in-app). Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

7.2 Free Trials

  • We may, at our sole discretion, offer a free trial period. The duration and features of any trial are stated at sign-up and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
  • Trials are limited to one per person and per household. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trials is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination.
  • Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged the standard price. No reminder is required from us, though we may send one as a courtesy.
  • Use of any AI feature, document generation, or premium content during the trial constitutes a request for immediate performance and a waiver of any statutory right of withdrawal to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7.3 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page or via the Stripe customer portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date, after which your account reverts to the free tier (if available) or is downgraded.
  • We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused portions of any billing period, partial months, downgrades, or periods during which you did not use the Service.
  • All payments are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by mandatory consumer protection law. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, it is waived to the maximum extent permitted by law upon your first use of any AI feature within the billing period.
  • We may suspend, downgrade, or terminate your subscription immediately for non-payment, breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or abuse of the Service, without refund.

7.4 Failed Payments & Dunning

  • If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry the charge over several days. During this period your access may be restricted or suspended.
  • If all retries fail, your subscription will be cancelled and access to paid features will end immediately. You remain liable for any amounts properly due.

7.5 Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If you have a billing concern, you must contact us first and allow at least 14 days for us to resolve it before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer.
  • Initiating a chargeback or dispute without first contacting us in good faith is a material breach of these Terms.
  • Upon receipt of any chargeback, we may immediately: (a) suspend or terminate your account and all associated accounts; (b) revoke access to all AI-generated documents and saved data; and (c) submit evidence to the card network contesting the chargeback, including your usage logs, IP address, account activity, and acceptance of these Terms.
  • If a chargeback is found in our favour or is deemed fraudulent or unjustified, you agree to reimburse us for the disputed amount plus a £25 administrative fee per chargeback to cover processing costs, and we reserve the right to recover these sums by any lawful means, including referral to a debt collection agency.
  • We may permanently blacklist any payment method, email address, or individual associated with a fraudulent or abusive chargeback from future use of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, text, compilations, classifications, match scores, and other materials on the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial job-search purposes only. All other rights are reserved.

You retain ownership of personal data you upload (e.g. CV content). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and transmit it solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

9. Third-Party Links & Employers

The Service links to third-party websites and employer application portals. We do not control and are not responsible for those sites, their content, their privacy practices, their hiring decisions, or any interaction or contract you enter into with any employer. Any dispute with an employer is solely between you and that employer.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranty of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we, our owners, directors, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, employment opportunity, visa outcome, relocation cost, or business, arising out of or in connection with the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you actually paid us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £50 GBP. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Public Sector Sponsorship and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms or any law, (c) any content you submit, (d) any document, statement, or application you generate or submit (whether AI-assisted or not), or (e) any dispute between you and any employer or third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. On termination, your licence ends immediately, and Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the change constitutes binding acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to the dispute-resolution clause below, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service. You waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.

16. Dispute Resolution

Before bringing any claim, you agree to first contact us in writing and allow 60 days for good-faith resolution. Any claim not resolved must be brought individually — you waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or it is permanently barred.

17. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force and effect.
  • No waiver by us is effective unless in writing. No failure to enforce any right is a waiver of that right.
  • You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them freely, including in a sale of the business.
  • These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
